IMPORTANT INFO

Getting Ready:

Getting ready photos are optional - please indicate in the form below whether or not you would like them. We are able to split up to go to both you and your partner’s getting ready locations. If you are interested in this, please factor in travel time between the two spots.

We highly recommend getting ready in a clean, bright location with lots of natural light. Wedding days can be chaotic, doing your best to keep the room nice and tidy will ensure your photos do not have any clutter in the background. If you would like photos of props such as invitations, rings, perfume, accessories, or any other objects of significance, please have them ready for us.

First Look:

A first look is highly recommended. This will add approximately 1 hour to your wedding day timeline. A first look allows you to get some of the anxiety out before walking down the aisle, and gives you a chance to do the portraits prior to the ceremony, allowing you more time later in the day to spend with your guests.

Ceremony:

Phone-free ceremonies are highly suggested. Guests holding up phones while you walk down the aisle can be disruptive and will show in your photos.

When the ceremony ends and you proceed to walk back down the aisle to leave, we suggest stopping half-way for a photo of a kiss!

Cocktail + Reception:

We will primarily be taking candids during the cocktail hour and reception. If you want a particular photo, please feel free to pull us aside! Otherwise, relax and enjoy your party.

Please ensure your DJ or lighting crew is not using lasers. These can destroy camera sensors, therefore we cannot take photos while lasers lights are on.

Portraits:

For family photos, it can help to have either your planner or a designated friend/family member who can identify and gather any family or guests needed for groups shots at the time of the photos. This will speed up the process quite a bit, as we will not be familiar with who is who.

For your own portraits, anticipate around 40 minutes of photos. If the timeline allows, we can go to additional locations for this, which can be fun.

For bridal party photos, we suggest doing them right before your own portraits, then they can leave as we go off to do yours. These should last around 20 minutes.

Other:

We do not need a shot list. If there is something out of the ordinary you’d like photos of, please let us know.

We do need a finalized schedule of the wedding day with all important events and locations marked.

Relax and enjoy your wedding! We know weddings can be stressful, but they go by very fast, so take some time to pause and enjoy every moment. Celebrate yourselves!
